Mushroom Do Pyaza is  a semi dry flavorsome dish with the combination of button mushrooms , caramelized onions and spices. This  dish can be made with regular home masalas with in no time. This can be paired with tawa paratha, roti.

INGREDIENTS

For Stir fry

Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp

Onion – 1 cubed

Capsicum – Cubed

For Gravy

Oil  - 2tbsp

Onion -1 , finely chopped

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Tomato – 1 , puree

Turmeric powder– ¼ tspoon

Chili powder – 1 tspoon

Coriander powder – 1 tspoon

Cumin powder – ½ tspoon

Garam masala - 1/2 tspoon

Mushroom – 250 g

Salt

Water

Coriander leaves (optional)

How to make Mushroom do pyaza

Add oil in a pan. add onions and capsicum. Sauté until they turn soft and caramelized. Then remove to a plate.

Add oil to the same pan.  Add onion. Sauté till it becomes translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste and sauté till its raw smell goes.

Now add tomato puree and cook for 3 minutes.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder.

Sauté until it is aromatic.

Now add cleaned mushrooms. Mix well.

Add water and salt. Cook until  the water is all evaporated.

Add sauteed onions and bell peppers.

Add garam masala at the end.

Garnish with coriander leaves(optional).

Serve with hot  tawa paratha, roti.
